Case Trail is the legal operations layer for Indian enterprises.
Built in Bengaluru for the courts, tribunals, and recovery forums Indian disputes actually live in. Started in 2026.
The Indian legal system runs on paper and patience. Hearings are listed and adjourned by the dozen, counsel send updates in WhatsApp, recovery teams chase 13(2) notice timelines in Excel, and the AI tools that did arrive promised the world and then fabricated a citation that didn’t exist.
Case Trail is the workspace those teams should already have: cases, hearings, notices and counsel spend in one place, with a Notebook that grounds every AI claim on documents you actually uploaded.
We work most closely with banks, NBFCs, insurers, and corporate legal teams. The product also serves firms and individual advocates — the same workspace, configured to what matters at that scale.
What we won't compromise on.
Useful constraints, not aphorisms. These show up in every product decision we make.
Institutional first
We started with banks, NBFCs, and insurers because they have the volume and the regulatory pressure. Their requirements set the floor for everything we ship — tenant isolation, audit logs, single-region storage, OTP 2FA. Solo lawyers and firms inherit that floor.
India-first, not India-localised
₹, IST, DD MMM YYYY, Hindi + regional scripts, the actual forum taxonomy (HC / SC / DRT / NCLT / NCLAT / DRAT / SAT / NCDRC). We built the data model around how Indian disputes actually work, not by translating an American or European product after the fact.
Citation is correctness
The AI Court Notebook will refuse before it hallucinates. Every claim is grounded on a document you uploaded and cites back to a page. Free generation has no place in legal work.
Bloomberg density, not Stripe whitespace
Lawyers run hundreds of matters. They need a workspace that lets them see and act, not one that hides the work behind generous padding. We optimise for information density, with calm typography to keep it readable for hours.
